El Dr. Willie Soon, científico del clima, ha instado a sus colegas académicos a prestar más atención a la actividad del sol, que sugiere varias décadas de enfriamiento global en lugar de calentamiento.

«lo que predecimos es que los próximos 20-30 años serán fríos. Será frío, así que será algo muy interesante para que el IPCC
(Intergovernmental Panel On Climate Change) lo afronte».
El sol se encuentra en un «estado debilitado» y mucho menos activo que durante los años 80 y 90, señaló Soon, que debería durar hasta «alrededor de 2050».
«Todo el sistema climático está alimentado en un 99,1% por la energía del sol», afirmó.

I get emailings from NOAA, the Weather Forecasting System in the U.S., that are of the nature of Solar Events, and the Sun has been very active, but that doesn’t mean the activity corresponds to a Higher Temperature. I believe more Sunspots mean less heat, not more. The Emailings are Free, registration is required, but that’s free as well. I subscribed due to my Interest in Shortwave and Amateur Radio (can be impacted by solar events) and due to my former Job, as an Electrician, in Industry, because certain Events can cause Power Systems to fail. I can easily believe that things will be cooler. On the Screen Saver for Roku for the T.V., there’s a Weather Option I subscribe to. But one of the panels is of the Sun, many many sunspots and activity.
